About this role

Moniepoint's Repair Operations team in Port Harcourt is looking for a Packaging Officer to manage the final stage of their refurbished terminal workflow. You'll receive QA-approved devices and ensure each one is properly packaged, labeled, logged, and ready for distribution—verifying that chargers, cables, labels, and cartons are all present and correct before terminals move to inventory. This is hands-on work that demands precision; you'll be responsible for rejecting substandard items, tracking daily output against targets, and maintaining accurate system records of every unit that passes through your station.

The role sits at the intersection of quality control and logistics. Beyond packaging itself, you'll coordinate with inventory officers, flag discrepancies or damage immediately, and work with repair and QA teams to spot workflow inefficiencies and suggest improvements. Success means hitting output targets consistently while keeping return rates low through strict adherence to checklists and standard procedures—essentially, your attention to detail directly protects Moniepoint's product quality and operational efficiency.

You'll need a background in electronics handling, warehouse operations, or similar work, ideally backed by an OND, HND, or degree. Physical stamina matters here; you'll be handling devices for extended periods in a warehouse environment. If you're organized, comfortable with inventory systems, and thrive in structured operational roles, this full-time onsite position offers competitive compensation and room for professional development within a major African fintech.
