  • Designed systems with a test-driven approach in mind to trap bad quality data or highlight alerts as part of your data flow
  • Familiarity with ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes and tools to prepare and clean data for analysis
  • Skill in using tools like dbt to build data transformation pipelines
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to transform static workflows into responsive, high-output processes

About this role

Metropolis is building checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision, and this Senior Analytics Engineer role sits at the center of making data actionable across the company. You'll design and own large-scale data warehouses and transformation pipelines that power product decisions, working closely with engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business teams. This is a leadership position where your data architecture and vision directly enable informed decision-making at scale.

The role demands deep technical expertise: 5+ years working with Python, SQL, and dbt (ideally certified), plus proven success designing and monitoring data warehouses that drive measurable business impact. You'll need to be fluent in advanced SQL techniques, query optimization, and database-specific performance tuning for Snowflake. Beyond technical chops, you should have a track record mentoring others on data best practices and architecting systems with data quality and testing built in from the start. Experience with ELT processes and using AI tools to automate workflows is expected.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Bengaluru requiring at least four days per week on-site. It's best suited for someone who has owned complex data projects end-to-end and thrives in cross-functional environments where collaboration directly shapes product outcomes.
