- Master the menu: Learn the details of all menu items, promotions, and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence
- Serve with efficiency and care: Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly – attention to detail is key!
- Manage the food service station: Make sure the food service station is always fully stocked, clean, and organized
- Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being

About this role
On is seeking a Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress for its Vila Nova de Gaia location in Porto. In this full-time, in-office role, you'll be the primary point of contact for guests during their meals—taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every interaction reflects genuine hospitality. Your day involves mastering menu details to answer guest questions confidently, managing the food service station to keep it stocked and organized, and executing orders with both speed and precision through the point-of-sale system.
Success in this position requires fluency in both Portuguese and English, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to customer service. You'll need to maintain excellent grooming standards, demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Equally important is your understanding of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations—compliance isn't optional, it's fundamental to protecting guests and colleagues alike.
