About this role
At Hilton's On property in Indiana, the Kitchen Stewarding Manager role centers on maintaining the operational backbone of food service—managing inventory of china, glassware, linens, and equipment while ensuring strict sanitation and health compliance. You'll oversee daily stewarding operations, coordinate with team members on scheduling and development, track departmental expenses, and work to identify efficiencies that support both guest experience and profitability. This is a hands-on management position that requires balancing multiple priorities in a high-volume hospitality environment.
The role demands substantial experience: at least five years in a five-star hotel setting, with a minimum of one year as an Assistant Chief Steward at an international brand. You'll need strong supervisory and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and solid knowledge of HACCP and hygiene standards. The ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining regulatory compliance across health, safety, and sanitation protocols is essential. This position suits someone with a track record of leading teams effectively in fast-paced kitchens and a genuine commitment to operational excellence and staff development.
