About this role

Managing room service at one of New York's most prestigious hotels means balancing operational excellence with genuine hospitality. You'll oversee daily service delivery, lead a team through each shift, and ensure every guest interaction meets the exacting standards of the Waldorf Astoria. This involves hands-on supervision—from scheduling and mentoring staff to monitoring quality, addressing guest concerns, and driving improvements across the operation.

The role blends service leadership with business acumen. Beyond day-to-day management, you'll help implement marketing initiatives and upselling strategies to grow room service revenue, while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Success here requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment, can lead by example, and sees operational details and guest satisfaction as inseparable.

Hilton emphasizes values-driven hiring: they're looking for people who combine hospitality passion with integrity, leadership capability, and genuine accountability. If you have experience in hotel operations or food and beverage management and want to develop your career within a recognized global hospitality brand, this full-time, in-office position offers a concrete next step.
