About this role
You'd be stepping into a hands-on operations leadership role at a major Atlanta hotel property, where you'd share responsibility for keeping the building safe, compliant, and fully functional. Your days would span facility inspections, overseeing maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, managing work orders through the property system, and coordinating with contractors and government officials on permits and code compliance. You'd also lead capital improvement projects from planning through execution, handling budgets, bidding, and scheduling while ensuring everything meets federal, state, and local standards.
The role demands someone with a solid grasp of building systems and regulatory requirements, plus the ability to manage both contractors and internal teams. You'd need to drive engagement and accountability among your maintenance staff, handle performance management, and bring discipline to day-to-day operations. Hilton emphasizes integrity, leadership, teamwork, and ownership—qualities the company says matter as much as technical competence in their workplace culture.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Atlanta suited to someone ready to move from individual contributor to assistant director level, with experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field. If you thrive coordinating complex projects, managing compliance details, and leading operational teams in a hospitality setting, it's worth exploring further.
