About this role
Hearst Health (through Noregon Systems) is looking for a Business Development Representative to grow sales territories in the heavy-duty truck diagnostics and software space. You'd split your time between supporting the sales team, qualifying and prospecting new leads, and executing strategic initiatives like industry events and reseller partnerships. The role demands someone comfortable with cold outreach, CRM management, and relationship building—someone who can work independently while staying organized and detail-oriented across multiple accounts and opportunities.
The position sits at the entry-to-mid level of sales development. A high school diploma qualifies you, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, and two years of prior sales experience is the baseline expectation. You'll need strong communication skills, analytical ability to read market data, and the drive to hit quotas without constant oversight. About a quarter of your time involves travel, and the work is primarily office-based with standard computer and filing tasks.
This is a full-time, in-office role with growth potential within Hearst Health's Sales Solutions division. The company has 25+ years in vehicle data and serves major fleets, OEMs, and repair networks—so you'd be selling into an established, growing market with real customer traction behind the product.
