At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:
A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality. Acting with Integrity and always doing the right thing. Inspiring others through Leadership. And a focus on the Now, bringing urgency and discipline to every moment, knowing it can make a lasting impact.
About this role
On's L&D Manager role centers on building and sustaining training programs across the hotel operation, with responsibility for everything from initial design through ongoing performance monitoring. You'll develop curricula covering mandatory topics like workplace harassment and diversity alongside practical training in food safety, alcohol awareness, and job-specific skills. The position requires you to work directly with department managers and trainers to assess what's working, identify gaps, and implement improvements—then track all of it through designated systems to ensure compliance and accountability.
Beyond program delivery, you'll manage the people side of learning and development. This means supervising your L&D team, providing coaching and support, and creating an environment where continuous improvement is the norm. You'll spend time in meetings reviewing performance trends with managers and recognizing achievements, then translating those insights into action plans that address real departmental needs. The role demands someone who can balance strategic thinking about training initiatives with hands-on execution and the ability to inspire both your team and the broader organization.
Success here hinges on alignment with Hilton's core values: genuine commitment to hospitality, integrity, leadership capability, collaborative instinct, ownership mentality, and urgency in execution. This is an in-office, full-time position based in Egypt.
