About this role
On is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee engineering and facilities operations at a Hilton property in Mazatlan. This is a full-time, in-office role that requires someone with advanced building management and engineering knowledge, ideally backed by a degree in engineering or a related field. You'll manage budgets, lead a maintenance team, and handle the full range of facilities issues that arise in a hotel environment—from preventive maintenance to emergency repairs—while maintaining the high service standards Hilton guests expect.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable with budgeting and basic accounting, proficient with computer systems and relevant software, and able to work both independently and as part of a team under pressure. A positive attitude, excellent communication, and flexibility in responding to varied operational demands are essential. First Aid certification and a formal engineering qualification would strengthen your candidacy.
