About this role
At Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Wailea, you'd work as a Cook II in the main kitchen, supporting the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes for resort guests. Your day involves executing recipes to standard, handling basic prep work like salads and sides, inspecting finished plates for quality and presentation, and keeping your station clean and properly stocked. You'll need solid knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety protocols, and health regulations, with the ability to work efficiently under the demands of a full-service resort kitchen.
This role suits someone with foundational cooking skills who's ready to take on more responsibility than entry-level prep work but isn't yet at the level of leading a station independently. You should be detail-oriented about food safety and presentation, comfortable following recipes precisely, and able to work as part of a larger kitchen team. The position is full-time and based on-site at the resort in Hawaii.
