About this role
On's Assistant Director of Catering role is fundamentally a commercial leadership position within Hilton's hospitality operations in Bandung. You'll own revenue strategy across multiple business segments—group, transient leisure, and catering—working to hit profitability targets through pricing optimization, forecasting accuracy, and business mix management. The day-to-day involves facilitating strategy meetings, analyzing market and competitor data, collaborating with revenue and marketing teams on aligned tactics, and building relationships with key partners like CVBs and travel agencies to drive demand and conversion.
The role demands someone with at least five years in hospitality sales or commercial revenue roles, ideally with proven success managing and developing sales teams. You'll need strong financial acumen to interpret departmental data, strategic thinking to identify new business opportunities, and the ability to present recommendations to senior leadership. Experience in matrixed, multi-property hotel environments is important, as is comfort with hotel management systems like Delphi, Salesforce, or OnQ. A business management degree or equivalent is required.
This is an in-office, full-time position suited to someone ready to step into a leadership role with real P&L responsibility. If you have a track record in hospitality sales strategy and team development, and you're energized by revenue optimization and stakeholder management across complex operations, this could be a strong fit.
