Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Support purchasing and receiving operations: Assist with procurement, oversee receiving processes, and manage inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure efficient stock management
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with outlet managers to ensure purchases meet operational needs and specifications
- Process invoices: Review invoices for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment and issue resolution
- Assist with supplier management: Help secure competitive pricing, place orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals.
- Perform quality checks: Inspect shipments to verify they meet order specifications, grade, and quality standards
- Supervise and develop the team: Train, schedule, and supervise purchasing and receiving clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance

- Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
- Experience in hospitality procurement or similar industry.

About this role
Hilton Quang Hanh Onsen Resort is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead procurement and receiving operations at this in-office, full-time position in Quang Ninh, Vietnam. You'll manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle—from securing competitive supplier pricing and placing orders to receiving shipments, performing quality inspections, and processing invoices. The role requires close collaboration with outlet managers to align purchases with operational needs and swift resolution of any discrepancies or delivery issues.
Your core responsibility will be supervising and developing a team of purchasing and receiving clerks, including training, scheduling, and performance management. You'll also maintain inventory at appropriate levels using procurement systems and inventory software, ensuring efficient stock management across the resort. Compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards underpins all procurement activities.
