About this role

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment's Clinton shop is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to work on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty equipment—dump trucks, street sweepers, service cranes, roll-offs, and more. You'll handle everything from routine preventative maintenance and brake work to more complex diagnostics and repairs across hydraulic systems, drivetrains, electrical components, and diesel engines. The role offers a clear path to expand your skills as you take on increasingly complex repairs, supported by manufacturer and vendor training.

This is a straightforward hourly position ($29–$34 based on your demonstrated skill level) with no flat-rate pressure, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM—no weekends. The shop provides uniforms, a $1,000 annual tool allowance, and company-provided technical training.

MATE backs the role with genuine benefits: 80 PTO hours in year one (increasing with tenure), paid personal leave, medical/dental/vision coverage, a company-matched 401(k), and employer-funded disability and life insurance.
