About this role
Telix Pharmaceuticals is scaling up manufacturing and supply chain operations for its radiopharmaceutical portfolio, and this director-level role sits at the center of that expansion. You would oversee a team of CMC program leads while managing relationships with contract manufacturers across multiple continents, ensuring that both the company's approved prostate cancer imaging agent and late-stage clinical candidates move smoothly from development into commercial production. The work spans strategy, execution, and partnership—coordinating between internal functions (manufacturing, supply chain, program leadership) and external contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) to deliver on timelines and budgets.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring 10+ years in cGMP manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or related quality roles, with direct experience in sterile injectable filling, lyophilization, and ideally secondary packaging and complex formulations. You'll need to manage contracts, drive cost and capacity optimization, own supplier scorecards, and lead performance reviews while building and developing your team. The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to navigate a fast-moving biotech environment where priorities shift and complexity is high. Approximately 30% travel, both domestic and international, is expected.
This suits someone with a track record managing CDMOs and external partners in a regulated environment, who thrives in translating commercial strategy into manufacturing reality, and who can balance operational excellence with business acumen. The remote structure offers flexibility, though the travel requirement and the need to coordinate across Telix's global offices means you'll be actively engaged across time zones.
