About this role
OPSWAT's Tampa warehouse operation needs someone who can manage the full lifecycle of hardware fulfillment—from imaging and testing through packing and shipment—for orders going to customers worldwide. You'd be working hands-on with servers, desktops, and IoT hardware, ensuring each device meets quality standards before it leaves the facility. The role calls for a generalist who understands how hardware components work together, can troubleshoot software issues that arise during testing, and spots opportunities to streamline processes.
To succeed here, you need solid grounding in Windows and Linux operating systems, familiarity with hardware imaging and QA/QC testing procedures, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under deadline pressure. Problem-solving and attention to detail matter as much as technical knowledge—you'll be documenting everything accurately, collaborating across departments, and flagging issues quickly. Experience with cybersecurity hardware would be valuable given OPSWAT's focus on critical infrastructure protection, though it's not required.
This is a contract position based in the Ybor City warehouse, so you'll be in the office full-time. It suits someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in quality control, and wants to contribute directly to how a global cybersecurity company delivers its products.
