About this role

Ogilvy Health Canada is seeking a bilingual proofreader to serve as a quality gatekeeper for healthcare communications across French and English. You'll work in-office in Toronto on a full-time basis, reviewing client materials for linguistic accuracy, brand consistency, and clarity before they reach stakeholders. The role demands both precision and collaboration—you'll liaise with writers, designers, account managers, and others to catch errors, flag stylistic inconsistencies, and ensure that the intended message comes through without compromise.

This position suits someone with three to five years of editing or proofreading experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency environment or similar setting where deadlines are tight and stakeholders are numerous. A background in scientific, medical, or pharmaceutical content is expected; knowledge of pharma regulations is a bonus. You'll manage competing priorities using project management software, apply brand style guides with consistency, and troubleshoot problems as they surface. The work requires both an exacting eye and the interpersonal skill to discuss corrections constructively with content owners.

The salary range is $45,000 to $95,000 CAD, with variation based on experience and qualifications. Ogilvy Health emphasizes autonomy, expert colleagues, and a collaborative culture where diverse perspectives are valued.
