About this role
One Peak Medical is building a primary care practice around functional medicine principles, and they're looking for a nurse practitioner who wants to practice root-cause medicine rather than symptom management. You'd work in their Point Terrace clinic seeing patients for office visits, telehealth, and same-day appointments—developing personalized treatment plans that integrate lifestyle interventions, supplements, and conventional prescribing. The role expects you to collaborate closely with health coaches, nutritionists, and mental health providers on your team, and to educate patients on preventive health alongside clinical care.
This position suits someone with an active Oregon NP license (FNP or AGNP-PC) and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine who's genuinely interested in functional medicine but may be early in that transition. One Peak provides comprehensive training and clinical mentorship in their model, administrative and coding support, and a dedicated medical assistant or scribe—removing many of the operational burdens that can frustrate providers. You'd work a four-day week with no nights or weekends, and the guaranteed $300k salary reflects their commitment to stability.
The benefits package is solid: full medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with 4% match; up to four weeks PTO; malpractice insurance covered; and reimbursement for licensing, DEA, and relocation costs. This is a full-time, in-office role designed for someone ready to invest in learning a different care model within a supportive team environment.
