About this role
Knighted Ventures operates California's card rooms and staffs them with Gaming Associates who audit live casino tables in real time. This role demands strong mental math, sharp focus, and the ability to work late-night and weekend shifts—you'll calculate payouts instantly, memorize game rules and payout structures, manage chip inventory, and correct dealers when procedures break down. The work is high-pressure and detail-oriented, requiring you to stay accurate while keeping the guest experience smooth.
The ideal candidate has a background in numbers-heavy work: tutoring, teaching, accounting, cashiering, or similar roles that built your mental math and attention to detail. You'll need to be 21+, pass a background check and drug screen, and be comfortable with direct communication in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands are moderate—sitting or standing for 3–4 hours at a time and handling chips—but the real requirement is staying sharp under pressure.
Knighted invests in your growth through paid training and ties pay raises to new game certifications you earn on the job. The company promotes almost entirely from within, so advancement into supervision or management is a genuine path. You're applying to work across California locations, though you can express a preference to your recruiter.
