About this role
One Peak Medical is building a functional medicine practice in Medford that prioritizes root-cause diagnosis and whole-person care, and they're looking for a PA to anchor that vision. You'd deliver primary care through office visits and telehealth, conducting comprehensive assessments, ordering diagnostics, and developing treatment plans that integrate lifestyle interventions, supplements, and prescriptions tailored to each patient. The role emphasizes collaboration—you'd work closely with health coaches, nutritionists, and mental health providers on the team—and requires strong documentation and participation in quality improvement work.
This position suits a provider with an active Oregon PA license (or eligibility to obtain one) and board certification in Family or Internal Medicine who genuinely wants to practice functional medicine rather than just add it as a side interest. You'll need solid EHR skills and the communication ability to educate patients on preventive health, but you won't be managing nights, weekends, or an overwhelming schedule—the role offers a four-day work week with flexible scheduling and robust clinical support including a dedicated medical assistant and scribe.
Compensation is a guaranteed $300k salary with relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, up to four weeks PTO, and coverage of licensing, DEA, and malpractice costs. One Peak covers the administrative and coding burden so you can focus on patient care in a forward-thinking environment designed to support provider growth.
