About this role
Machinify's Print Operations Technician role centers on running high-volume printing and inserting equipment that produces member correspondence for health plans serving over 270 million lives. You'd work on-site in La Grange, Kentucky in a hybrid arrangement, operating specialized machinery like letter inserters and production printers, performing routine maintenance, managing inventory of letterhead and supplies, and ensuring all work meets strict accuracy and security standards. The role demands close attention to detail and the ability to handle protected health information under HIPAA compliance—mistakes directly affect the people these health plans serve.
The position suits someone with production-line or manufacturing experience who's comfortable in fast-paced, team-based environments and has worked with Windows systems. While prior experience with high-volume inserting or printing equipment (BlueCrest, Pitney Bowes) and familiarity with healthcare or compliance-regulated settings are preferred, the core requirement is a high school diploma or GED, strong accuracy focus, and responsibility with confidential materials. You'll spend significant time standing, concentrating on detail work, and occasionally lifting boxes up to 50 pounds in a well-lit, climate-controlled setting.
Compensation is $24.00 per hour as a non-exempt position. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, volunteer days, health and dental coverage eligibility, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and life insurance and parental leave eligibility.
