About this role

David Zwirner's Los Angeles gallery is looking for an intern to join its team through the end of March, working across multiple departments to support daily operations and exhibitions. You'd spend time with front-of-house staff greeting visitors and managing communications, assist the sales team with materials and data work, help coordinate gallery events and openings, and handle logistics like inventory, shipping, and workspace maintenance. The position suits someone genuinely interested in contemporary art and curious about the gallery world, though prior commercial art experience isn't required. You'll need to be organized, personable, and reliable, with strong communication skills and the flexibility to adapt across different tasks. The schedule is three days per week from November through December, then full-time (five days per week) from January through March, with hours aligned to the gallery's Tuesday–Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM schedule. You'll be paid LA minimum wage of $18.42 per hour, with no housing or commuting support provided.
