About the role

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Technology Operations, you will manage the Enterprise Technology budget and forecast, vendor contracts and renewals, headcount and contractor tracking, and leadership reporting. You are the single point of contact for Finance, Sourcing and the leadership team.

This is a senior individual contributor role. The leadership team will rely on you for an accurate, current view of spend, vendors, and headcount, and for recommendations based on it. You will be the first person in this role and will build the processes and reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Enterprise Technology budget and forecast for software, services and contractors, including the annual plan, monthly forecast, variance analysis and reconciliation with Finance.
  • Maintain a single view of spend across the portfolio by domain, vendor and cost type, used by the leadership team and Finance.
  • Maintain a complete view of the vendor portfolio: vendors, contract terms and commitments, costs and renewal dates.
  • Lead renewal planning for major contracts in partnership with Sourcing, including timeline, negotiation position and coordination with Legal and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze license utilization, overlap and cost across software portfolio, and recommend to Technical Product and Engineering what to expand, consolidate or retire ahead of each renewal.
  • Report the cost of running each domain and system to the leadership team as an input to buy, configure or build and prioritization decisions.
  • Track headcount, open roles and contractors against the approved plan, and keep the position list current for Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Provide cost, licensing and contract analysis for buy, configure or build evaluations.
  • Work with FP&A on leadership reporting for Enterprise Technology, adding vendor spend, renewals, hiring status and operating metrics to the financials.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years in technology business operations, technology finance, vendor management or an equivalent role in engineering organization, including at least 3 years managing a multi million dollar software and services budget.
  • Experience running an annual budget and monthly forecast for a technology team, including variance analysis and reconciliation with Finance.
  • Experience managing a vendor contract portfolio, including renewals, negotiation support with a Sourcing or Procurement team, true-ups and SOW.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS licensing models and cloud cost management, and experience with procure-to-pay and contract management systems.
  • Understands the boundary between commercial ownership and technical or delivery ownership, and works within it.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Coupa or a comparable procure-to-pay platform.
  • Experience with contract management systems.
  • Compliance sensitive or audit controlled procurement and spend processes.

About this role

Crunchyroll is building out its Enterprise Technology Operations function from the ground up, and they're looking for someone to own the financial and operational backbone of that effort. As the first person in this Senior Manager role, you'll establish the processes, reporting infrastructure, and vendor management discipline that the leadership team will depend on to make informed decisions about technology spend and priorities. This is a contract position based in Dallas, requiring in-office presence.

Your core responsibilities center on budget stewardship and visibility: managing the Enterprise Technology budget and forecast across software, services, and contractors; maintaining a complete view of vendor contracts, renewals, and commitments; and delivering accurate spend reporting by domain and cost type to Finance and leadership. You'll also analyze software license utilization to recommend consolidations or retirements, track headcount against plan, and support buy-versus-build evaluations with cost analysis. The role demands someone who can work fluidly across Finance, Sourcing, Legal, and technical teams while understanding where commercial decisions end and technical ownership begins.

You'll need at least 12 years in technology business operations, technology finance, or vendor management—with a minimum of 3 years managing multimillion-dollar software and services budgets. Hands-on experience running annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis is essential, as is familiarity with SaaS licensing models, cloud cost management, and procure-to-pay systems. Experience with Coupa, contract management platforms, or compliance-heavy procurement processes is a plus. This role suits someone who thrives on building systems and processes rather than maintaining existing ones, and who can translate between financial and technical stakeholders.
