About this role
Bradken's Fixed Plant manufacturing operation in Edmonton is seeking a Shipper Receiver for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll manage the flow of materials in and out of the facility, coordinating with production, planning, and material coordination teams to keep schedules on track and inventory accurate. The role combines hands-on logistics work—loading, unloading, and equipment operation—with administrative responsibilities like audits, compliance checks, and month-end reporting.
The position requires forklift and overhead crane certification, along with practical experience in material handling and fabrication environments. You'll need to be comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly, managing multiple priorities, and communicating clearly with internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems will strengthen your candidacy. Beyond technical skills, Bradken emphasizes safety culture and quality compliance, so you'll be expected to model these values and flag any concerns.
This is a full-time, in-office role running Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Benefits begin immediately, including health, dental, vision, disability, and life coverage, with RRSP matching and training reimbursement available after 90 days. The position qualifies for annual bonuses. Note that a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check are required before you start.
