About this role
Bot Auto is seeking a contract Office Administrator to serve as the operational backbone of its Houston headquarters, where the company is building autonomous trucking technology. You'd be the first point of contact for visitors, candidates, and vendors while managing the logistics that keep a growing tech office functioning—from mail and supplies to conference rooms, parking, and badge access. The role sits at the intersection of people operations and business support, requiring close coordination with those teams on everything from new hire onboarding to ad hoc projects.
The position calls for someone with at least a year of front desk or administrative experience who is genuinely organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with follow-through. You'll need fluency in Google Workspace and Slack, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information discretely. Experience in a startup or tech environment is valued, as is comfort with vendor management, travel booking, and using AI tools to work more efficiently.
