What Private Duty with BAYADA’s Skilled Nursing Looks Like:
- Private duty = full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's)
- Private duty = one client for the whole shift
- Nurses work with local clients nearby with short commutes
- Common diagnoses BAYADA Skilled Nurses work on: TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
*LPNs/LVNs working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills and are well-equipped to handle one client in the home
Qualifications for A Private Duty LPN:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

- Pay range: $27-31 hourly based on experience and skills
- Flexible scheduling with no minimums (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN)

This role involves full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client per shift, working with patients managing conditions like stroke, dementia, COPD, spinal cord injury, and post-surgical recovery. The position suits nurses transitioning from hospital, long-term care, or school settings who want to deepen relationships with individual clients rather than rotate through multiple patients.
You'll need a current Minnesota nursing license and graduation from an accredited LPN program. The pay ranges from $27 to $31 per hour depending on experience. BAYADA offers flexible scheduling with no minimum hours required—work full-time, part-time, or PRN as your life allows. Part-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; PTO; paid holidays; 401(k) matching; employer-paid life insurance; and access to an Employee Assistance Program, plus scholarship opportunities and on-the-job training. You'll also have 24/7 managerial support and short commutes to local clients.
