  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with front-line leaders and employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS/HRMS systems and workforce reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

About this role

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage employee and labor relations for an 800+ person manufacturing workforce at its Aosta Valley plant. You'd report to the HR Manager and serve as the primary HR contact for frontline employees, supervisors, and union representatives, handling everything from grievance administration and contract interpretation to investigations, corrective actions, and unemployment claims. This is a hands-on operational role where you'll spend time on the manufacturing floor building relationships and ensuring consistent application of policies and collective bargaining agreements.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a unionized manufacturing or distribution setting, with demonstrated strength in employee relations, investigations, and labor compliance. You'll need a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively with both leadership and hourly employees in a fast-paced environment. A PHR or SPHR certification is preferred. While the role touches multiple HR functions—recruitment, benefits, onboarding, and workforce analytics—the core focus is employee relations, labor relations, and day-to-day HR operations that keep the plant running smoothly.
