About this role

Zensar is seeking a Senior Manager to establish governance and visibility across its infrastructure asset landscape. Rather than owning operations directly, you'll work across multiple functions—Enterprise ITAM/SAM, Infrastructure Service Owners, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Transition teams—to coordinate policy alignment, data quality, lifecycle reporting, and risk visibility. This is a matrix leadership role focused on enabling executive decision-making through dashboards, exception management, and cross-functional problem-solving.

The position requires 10+ years in infrastructure governance, IT asset management, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years leading global governance and compliance initiatives. You'll need strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, along with hands-on experience in inventory governance, asset ownership frameworks, and technology-risk reporting. Familiarity with platforms like ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, or Power BI is valuable; experience in M&A, service transitions, or software licensing governance is a plus. Relevant certifications (ITIL 4, IAITAM, ServiceNow, PMP, PRINCE2) and knowledge of ISO/IEC 19770 standards strengthen your candidacy.

This is a contract role based in Chennai, requiring in-office presence. It suits someone comfortable operating without direct authority, who thrives coordinating complex stakeholder ecosystems and translating operational detail into strategic visibility.
