Description
Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) powers the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting the people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life. Xometry’s digital marketplace gives manufacturers the critical resources they need to grow their business while also making it easy for buyers at Fortune 1000 companies to tap into global manufacturing capacity.
Xometry is seeking a strong leader to take the marketing function to the next level. As a key member of the Global Marketing and regional leadership teams, you will partner with the Global CMO and regional leaders to drive accelerated growth across EMEA and APAC with marketing as a core growth engine. You will define and scale the regional growth strategy across customer acquisition, lifecycle and retention, localized product marketing, regional sales enablement, and localized content, and you will lead the team that delivers it.
You will sit on the regional Executive Leadership Team and act as a core partner to the GMs of EMEA and APAC. You report globally but work hand in hand with regional GMs and sales leadership to grow P&L in current markets while accelerating entry into new ones.
You will lead a team with a strong entrepreneurial, test-and-learn spirit, and bring the operating rigor, data discipline, and AI-enabled ways of working needed to scale it. The regional team is both a source of marketing innovation and best practice that the U.S. region adopts, and the place where proven U.S. playbooks (demand engines, brand campaigns, enablement systems) are adapted for the manufacturing landscape in each region. You will partner with U.S. marketing leadership to run that exchange in both directions, balancing global brand consistency with localized, high-impact growth.
Key responsibilities
You will lead the regional marketing directors and their teams across demand generation, lifecycle/CRM, and product and content marketing. The work below is delivered through your team, and you are accountable for the results.
Strategic leadership and P&L partnership
- Be the voice of marketing on the regional ELT, shaping EMEA and APAC strategy alongside the GMs and regional sales leaders.
- Translate regional P&L, revenue, and expansion priorities into a marketing agenda with clear accountability for results.
- Read buyer trends early and turn them into insight-led plays that accelerate marketplace adoption across diverse geographies.
- Run a two-way exchange with U.S. marketing leadership: bring proven playbooks, including champion-led growth, to EMEA and APAC markets, and export regional innovation back.
- Contribute to global marketing strategy and priorities as a member of the Global Marketing leadership team, and serve as a trusted right hand to the Global CMO.
Corporate and enterprise account growth
- Partner with sales leadership to accelerate corporate and enterprise account growth.
- Make account-based marketing and enablement a competitive advantage that positions Xometry as the digital infrastructure for custom manufacturing.
- Equip sales with localized narratives, pitch materials, and proof points that lift win rates, shorten cycles, and grow buyers per account.
Brand health, localization, and content
- Partner with the U.S. brand team to build awareness, sentiment, and credibility among engineering and procurement audiences market by market, ensuring global brand consistency.
- Hold a high bar for content quality, balancing the global brand with local relevance and cultural nuance, in close partnership with the U.S. brand and content teams.
- Localize global thought leadership and technical content, and originate local content where it earns its place.
Marketplace customer marketing and demand generation
- Own acquisition and retention performance, with KPIs tied to regional revenue, repeat usage, and marketplace engagement.
- Shape localized demand generation that attracts engineers, procurement professionals, and enterprise buyers.
- Ensure lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, retention, and loyalty are coordinated across regions and compliant with local regulation, including GDPR.
Regional go-to-market and product marketing
- Sharpen positioning, messaging, and commercialization of new marketplace capabilities for buyers across EMEA and APAC.
- Establish launch models across Product, Growth, and Sales for new country entries and new manufacturing processes.
- Partner with U.S. product marketing so global launches land cleanly in EMEA and APAC.
Organization and talent
- Work with the current regional marketing leaders to continue building a scalable, agile marketing engine across EMEA and APAC.
- Develop and mentor regional leaders to own market-level outcomes independently.
- Sustain clarity of roles and accountability across time zones, and cultivate a culture of performance, curiosity, and cross-border collaboration.
What success looks like - This role is accountable for delivering the regional and marketing north star metrics and the P&L targets for EMEA and APAC, set with the GMs and the Global CMO.
In your first 12 months, you will:
- Deliver against the agreed regional and marketing north star metrics and P&L targets, with marketing's contribution to revenue, pipeline, and enterprise account growth clearly measured.
- Establish a shared marketing plan with each GM that links marketing goals to P&L, pipeline, and enterprise account targets, with a regular performance review cadence.
- Show measurable progress on acquisition, repeat usage, and buyers per account in priority markets.
- Adapt at least one proven U.S. demand engine to a regional market and make it repeatable, and surface at least one regional innovation the U.S. adopts.
- Earn the trust of the GMs, regional sales leaders, and your team while preserving the team's momentum and entrepreneurial culture.
- Contribute to global marketing strategy and priorities beyond the region, as a member of the Global Marketing leadership team and a trusted partner to the Global CMO.
- Work with the current regional marketing leaders to continue building the EMEA and APAC marketing engine for the next phase of growth.
- Introduce AI-enabled and data-driven ways of working that raise team productivity without slowing execution.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive B2B or B2B-adjacent e-commerce leadership, with deep marketing expertise and significant experience leading across EMEA and APAC markets.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or manufacturing and technology businesses scaling across multiple markets.
- Track record as a P&L partner to GMs and sales leaders, with direct impact on regional revenue and enterprise account growth.
- Experience leading multi-market teams across demand generation, lifecycle, brand, and product marketing, in multiple countries and languages.
- Analytical and quantitative rigor paired with creative vision, and hands-on experience leading AI-driven transformation of marketing operations.
- Human-centric leadership style, with the ability to work authentically across cultures and understand the nuances of buyers in varied markets.
- Experience working in a global matrix between headquarters and regional leadership teams, including exchanging playbooks and innovation in both directions.
- Strong executive communication and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
Who will thrive here
You are a builder who is comfortable moving fast with incomplete information, and you also know how to turn what works into a repeatable system. You respect what the current team has created, and you bring the discipline to scale it. You think like an enterprise leader, lead through influence across a matrix, and hold yourself and your team accountable to revenue and P&L outcomes.
You thrive on impact. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth business with both internal and macro momentum, and to have an outsized impact on where it goes next. You are motivated by that opportunity and by the challenge that comes with it.
You are innately curious, both intellectually and pragmatically. You ask why, follow the evidence, and turn what you learn into action.

About this role
Xometry is looking for a seasoned marketing leader to build and scale the marketing function across EMEA and APAC, two critical growth regions for this NASDAQ-listed digital manufacturing marketplace. You'll join the regional Executive Leadership Team as a strategic partner to the GMs and sales leaders, translating regional business priorities into a marketing agenda with clear P&L accountability. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, product positioning, and enterprise account growth while balancing global brand consistency with the localized insights and cultural nuance each market demands.
The scope is substantial: you'll lead regional marketing directors across demand generation, CRM, and content marketing; partner with U.S. marketing leadership to adapt proven playbooks to local contexts and export regional innovations back; and establish account-based marketing as a competitive advantage for enterprise deals. Success means delivering measurable progress on revenue contribution, pipeline, repeat usage, and buyers per account within your first year, while also building a scalable, high-performing team across time zones that sustains both rigor and entrepreneurial spirit.
This role suits a leader with experience scaling B2B marketing in complex, multi-geography environments—someone comfortable with data-driven decision-making, capable of translating strategy into execution through teams, and skilled at navigating the tension between global consistency and local relevance. The in-office requirement in Munich reflects the regional focus, and you'll need the credibility to sit at the leadership table and influence business strategy, not just execute campaigns.
