About this role
Foxconn WI's Program Management Department is building out its NPI (new product introduction) capabilities and needs a Test Engineer to own the development and validation of test processes, equipment, and coverage as products move from prototype through production ramp. You'll work across multiple build phases—prototype, pilot, qualification, and ramp—troubleshooting test-related issues in real time, analyzing failures and yield data to drive root cause corrections, and partnering with product, manufacturing, quality, and design teams to ensure products launch reliably. The role balances hands-on technical work in both office and production environments with the strategic thinking needed to optimize test cycle time, capacity, and first-pass yield.
This position suits someone with a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience) and at least two years in test engineering, manufacturing test, or validation. You should be comfortable troubleshooting hardware, software, instrumentation, and automated test systems, and strong in data analysis and cross-functional problem-solving. The work is in-office at the SMC location and full-time, with a standard benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer contribution, and paid time off. Foxconn emphasizes continuous learning and career growth in smart manufacturing.
