About this role

Foxconn WI's NPI Programming Engineer role sits at the intersection of product development and manufacturing operations, where you'll build the programming infrastructure that takes new products from design into reliable production. You'll develop scripts, automation solutions, and configurations that enable smooth prototype through ramp builds, working across multiple teams—product, test, manufacturing, controls, and quality—to translate requirements into repeatable, production-ready processes. This is hands-on technical work that spans both office and production floor environments.

The role demands someone with a computer science or engineering background and at least two years of relevant experience in programming, automation, or manufacturing systems. You'll need solid skills in one or more languages like Python, PowerShell, or C#, plus familiarity with version control, debugging, and production change management. Beyond coding, the job calls for troubleshooting instinct, attention to documentation and traceability, and the ability to analyze failures and drive improvements across teams.

This full-time, in-office position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match, and paid time off, plus access to an onsite wellness center. If you're looking to apply technical skills to real manufacturing challenges and grow in smart manufacturing environments, this is a concrete opportunity to do that work at scale.
