About this role

Foxconn WI's Program Management Department is building out its operational technology infrastructure for new product introduction, and this role sits at the center of that effort. As NPI OT Engineer, you would design and integrate the systems that connect production equipment, manufacturing networks, data collection, and shop-floor execution—ensuring everything is ready, secure, and reliable when new lines ramp. Your work spans architecture and connectivity planning, equipment integration with MES and traceability systems, troubleshooting industrial PCs and networked gear, and coordinating with manufacturing, controls, IT, cybersecurity, and vendors to solve integration problems as they arise.

The role calls for a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, automation, or IT engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience), plus at least two years working with OT systems, industrial networking, controls integration, or manufacturing systems. You'll need solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networks, and equipment interfaces, and working knowledge of Windows/Linux, TCP/IP, and industrial connectivity standards. This is an in-office position at the SMC location where you'll move between office and production environments, supporting commissioning, validation, documentation, cybersecurity implementation, and the day-to-day reliability of systems that directly impact production schedules.

The company offers standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401K with employer match, and paid time off. An onsite health center is available, and there's explicit emphasis on continuous learning and career growth in smart manufacturing.
