About this role
Supporting a graduate nursing program requires someone comfortable juggling multiple priorities across student services, admissions, compliance, and clinical coordination. This role sits at the center of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at UT Chattanooga, serving as the key administrative hub connecting students, faculty, university departments, and Erlanger Health System clinical partners. You'll advise students on academic and clinical requirements, manage admissions workflows including applicant reviews and interview scheduling, maintain accreditation records and databases, and coordinate the logistics of clinical placements—everything from credentialing and badge access to compliance documentation.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and communication skills, comfort with databases and Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage competing deadlines with accuracy and discretion. Experience in a healthcare or university setting is preferred, though the minimum requirement is a high school diploma plus two years in a busy healthcare or business environment. You'll need to understand program requirements well enough to communicate them clearly to students and external partners, track detailed compliance information, and help prepare materials for accreditation reviews. This is an on-site position in Chattanooga that demands reliability and integrity, particularly when handling confidential student and clinical records.
