About this role

Uber Freight is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to manage the operational side of freight movement for a major customer account based in the Garland area. You'll work within their Transportation Management System to orchestrate the full lifecycle of orders—from carrier selection and rate negotiation to on-time delivery execution and invoice reconciliation. The role demands someone who can balance efficiency with cost control, maintain strong relationships across a network of carriers, and proactively identify service gaps or savings opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a solid grasp of domestic over-the-road freight. You'll need to be comfortable with TMS platforms and Microsoft or Google tools, and strong analytical skills are important—you'll be running reports, spotting performance patterns, and translating data into actionable recommendations. A bachelor's degree in a related field and familiarity with LTL, FTL, and cross-border logistics are valued, though not required.

This is a Monday-to-Friday hybrid position in Frisco, TX, offering standard benefits including health coverage, 401k matching, and potential performance bonuses for those working over 30 hours weekly. It suits someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving within systems, and wants to make a tangible impact on how freight moves across North America.
