About this role

Walker Meadow Retirement Community in Chelsea is hiring a Dietary Aide to serve meals and create a welcoming dining environment for residents in their senior living community. The role centers on direct resident interaction—taking orders, serving food, and maintaining dining areas in a restaurant-style setting. Early morning shifts (6:00 or 6:30 a.m.) are the primary schedule, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage; shift premiums of $1.00 per hour apply to evening and weekend hours. The position pays $15–$19 per hour and is part-time.

You'll need to be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 35 pounds; prior food service or server experience is preferred but not required. The role goes beyond the core duties listed, so you should expect additional responsibilities once hired.

The community offers genuine benefits for part-time staff: vision and mental health coverage, a retirement savings plan with employer contributions, seven paid holidays plus your birthday off, paid sick and personal time, and free meals during shifts. You'll also have access to tuition assistance up to $3,000 per semester, wellness reimbursement, and daily pay options. Attendance and longevity bonuses reward consistency, and there's a $500 referral bonus if you bring in new team members.
