Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to build computer models of multi-family housing projects.
- Employ Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills to develop accurate, virtual models.
- Create interactive model files utilizing the BIMx application.
- Prepare automated schedules of quantity takeoffs for cost evaluation and construction drawings.
- Respond to requests for information from our estimating and construction departments.
- Revise drawings and documents as required to achieve the specified product.
- Expand the library of our home portfolio.
- Present information accurately, both graphically and numerically.
- Create objects and modules in an organized manner for inclusion in the design library.
- Commitment towards self-directed quality control standards.
- Apply standard operating procedures to all aspects of work.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Thorough understanding of our project delivery process.
- A passion for precision and accuracy in all aspects of work product.
- Advanced understanding of intelligent modeling and managing files in a digital environment.
- Proficiency with Revit
- Working knowledge of supplemental office software programs and an aptitude for learning are essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of project work experience in Residential Architecture.
- 2+ years experience working at an architecture or design firm.
- Experience in multi-family and light commercial projects.
- Experience with Revit

About this role
Metropolitan Management Group is building out its residential architecture practice and needs someone to take ownership of BIM modeling and documentation for multi-family housing projects. You'd work directly under the Residential Architect Manager, translating designs into detailed Revit models, generating construction schedules and takeoffs, and maintaining the firm's growing library of reusable components. The role balances technical precision—accuracy in modeling and file management matters here—with responsiveness to the estimating and construction teams who depend on your output.
This is a good fit if you have at least two years of hands-on experience in residential architecture or at a design firm, with solid Revit skills and exposure to multi-family or light commercial work. You'll need to be self-directed about quality, comfortable learning new software as needed, and able to communicate clearly both visually and numerically.
