About this role

Revolution Medicines is building out its German compliance function as it prepares to launch new oncology therapies in the market, and this Director role offers the chance to establish and lead the compliance framework from the ground up. You would serve as the primary compliance advisor to the local Commercial and Medical teams, working across the full product lifecycle from launch through commercialization. The position sits within the Legal and Compliance function and requires close collaboration with senior leadership across Commercial, Medical, Clinical Development, Finance and HR to embed appropriate controls into the company's operations.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of in-house pharmaceutical experience and a legal qualification, with proven expertise in German healthcare and anti-corruption law—particularly the StGB sections 299a and 299b, HWG, AMG, and FSA/vfa codes of conduct. You would own everything from designing the risk assessment and monitoring program to drafting policies, delivering compliance training, managing third-party due diligence, and liaising with German regulators and industry bodies. This is a role for someone who can build compliance capabilities in a scaling organization, work effectively as an individual contributor across multiple stakeholder groups, and foster a strong compliance culture without requiring direct reports initially.

The position is based in Munich and requires in-office presence. It suits an experienced compliance professional who understands the nuances of the German regulatory environment and is energized by the opportunity to shape how a growing commercial-stage biotech company operates in the market.
