About this role
Foxconn WI's Program Management Department is building out its NPI team and looking for an engineer who can take new products from concept through production ramp. You'd own the process engineering side of that journey—designing manufacturing flows, running time studies and capacity analyses, balancing labor and equipment, and identifying bottlenecks before they become problems. The role spans both office work and hands-on time on the production floor, so you'll move between data analysis and real-world validation.
Success here means combining analytical rigor with practical problem-solving. You'll use lean principles and structured methods to establish process standards, support PFMEA and readiness reviews, and partner across manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues as they arise. The job calls for someone comfortable with data—yield, throughput, defects—and able to translate findings into concrete recommendations on equipment, staffing, layout, or sequencing. CAD and layout tools are a plus, but the core requirement is the ability to think critically about how to make production safe, efficient, and repeatable.
A bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) is the baseline; two or more years in a similar role is preferred. Foxconn offers a standard benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with employer match, and paid time off, plus an onsite wellness center and a stated commitment to supporting career growth in smart manufacturing.
