About this role

SpaceX is building a third orbital launch site in Louisiana to support Starship operations, and this role owns the land development and utility infrastructure projects that make that possible. You would manage the full lifecycle of grading, drainage, stormwater systems, water utilities, and site work—from early planning through permitting, design review, contractor coordination, and field activation. This is hands-on infrastructure delivery: you'll resolve real-time conflicts between disciplines, drive quality control on site, and keep projects on schedule and budget while working across multiple contractors and internal teams.

The position requires at least 10 years of construction experience and a degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in construction with deep expertise in large-scale land development, site hydraulics, grading, and drainage. Experience with power generation, water treatment, airport, or marine infrastructure is valuable. A PE license, CAD proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment are strong assets. You'll be based in Texas through early 2027, then relocate to Louisiana; the work is in-office and involves significant time on your feet in hot conditions, at heights, and around heavy equipment.
