Description

Who We Are

At KEV, we build mission-critical financial software for K–12 schools on a massive scale. Our platform delivers real-time control and visibility into every dollar collected, whether cash, check, or digital, replacing fragmented workflows with secure, modern systems.

Trusted by 27,000 K–12 schools and districts managing over $8B annually, KEV operates at the intersection of payments, accounting, and reporting—where complexity is high and engineering excellence matters. Headquartered in Toronto with teams across North America, we are scaling fast and investing deeply in cloud-native, data-driven technology.

If you want to build high-impact SaaS products that solve hard problems, scale with purpose, and make your work matter in public education, KEV is the place to do it.

About the Role

As part of the Technology Operations group, the Information Technology Analyst keeps systems and services running smoothly across the organization, with a focus on corporate IT support. You'll administer our Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune environment, manage our growing portfolio of SaaS applications, provide hands-on hardware and software support to corporate end users, and keep our IT documentation and processes current and useful.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Provide first- and second-level hardware and software support for laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and business applications — in person and remotely
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) — user accounts, licensing, groups, and security settings
  • Manage Azure and Entra ID — identity, conditional access, MFA, and single sign-on for corporate applications
  • Enroll, configure, and secure Windows, macOS, and mobile devices with Microsoft Intune — compliance policies, configuration profiles, and app deployment
  • Own the SaaS application lifecycle — evaluate, provision, integrate, monitor usage, manage renewals, and deprovision
  • Procure, image, deploy, and maintain end-user hardware, network, and software components
  • Assess our information systems, identify gaps, test new technologies, and lead upgrade and migration projects
  • Respond promptly to IT service requests, support employees across the company, and prioritize issues within defined SLAs
  • Maintain IT documentation and create end-user how-to guides and knowledge base content
  • Gather and analyze data to diagnose problems with computer systems
  • Maintain hardware asset inventory and track SaaS and software licenses, renewals, and spend
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding — account provisioning, device setup, and access removal across Microsoft 365 and SaaS applications
  • Integrate systems and automate common tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual error

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years in corporate IT support or systems administration
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS hardware and software, mobile devices, and printers
  • Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Power Automate
  • Experience managing SaaS applications, including SSO/SCIM provisioning and license management
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals — DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN
  • Experience with phone systems and remote support tools
  • Comfort with ITSM tools such as Jira and Freshworks
  • PowerShell scripting experience is an asset
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102, AZ-104) are an asset
  • A customer-service mindset — patient, approachable, and able to explain technical issues in plain language
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sharp problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and requests based on business impact and urgency

About this role

KEV Group's Information Technology Analyst role is a hands-on corporate IT position supporting a fast-growing financial software company serving K–12 schools across North America. Based in Toronto but fully remote, this role sits within Technology Operations and spans the full IT lifecycle: managing Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and a growing SaaS portfolio; providing hardware and software support to end users; handling device provisioning and security; and owning system assessments and technology upgrades. You'll balance reactive support (help desk tickets, troubleshooting) with proactive work (documentation, automation, asset management, and integration projects).

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of corporate IT or systems administration experience with demonstrated competency across Windows and macOS, mobile device management, and the Microsoft cloud stack. Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune is essential; SaaS lifecycle management, networking fundamentals, and ITSM tools like Jira round out the core requirements. PowerShell scripting and Microsoft certifications are valued but not required. Beyond technical skills, the role demands strong communication, customer service instincts, and the ability to prioritize competing demands under pressure.

The position offers competitive base salary ($65,000–$80,000), health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, professional development support, and flexible PTO with roughly four weeks of vacation. KEV emphasizes culture and impact—your work directly supports schools and students—alongside genuine growth opportunities as the company scales.
