About this role
Lightspeed is building out a substantial financial operations function and seeking a director-level leader to own it end-to-end. You'd manage billing operations, accounts payable, expense management, and procurement—and critically, you'd design and launch a credit desk function from scratch to manage dealer risk across the sales-to-cash cycle. This is a role that blends operational execution with strategic build-out; you're not just running existing processes, but establishing governance frameworks, SOPs, and approval workflows that scale with the company's growth across 4,500+ dealer customers.
The position demands someone with at least ten years in financial or revenue operations and four years leading sizable teams. You'll need hands-on fluency in SaaS billing, subscription revenue models, and the Salesforce-NetSuite integration landscape. Beyond process management, you'll influence pricing and sales strategy, lead M&A integration work, and partner across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to optimize workflows. The role is based in South Jordan, Utah and requires in-office presence; it's a contract position paying $174,025–$215,338 annually.
This suits a leader comfortable with ambiguity and ownership—someone who can simultaneously run tight billing and AP operations while designing credit policies and procurement governance. If you thrive building teams, establishing controls, and translating operational complexity into scalable systems, and you have the SaaS and subscription billing background to back it up, this is a substantial opportunity to shape how a fast-growing DMS company manages financial operations.
