About this role

Indie Campers is looking for someone to lead day-to-day operations at its Salt Lake City depot, where you'll manage a small team and handle the full spectrum of campervan rental workflows—from check-ins and check-outs to fleet maintenance coordination and system documentation. This is a hands-on role, with 70–80% of your time spent executing operational tasks alongside your team rather than managing from behind a desk. You'll track daily performance metrics, ensure RVs are customer-ready, coordinate shift schedules, and keep costs disciplined across consumables and operational spending.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, or hospitality environments and is comfortable with physical work: lifting items up to 15 kg, standing for long periods, and working indoors and outdoors in all weather. You'll need a valid driver's license and the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during peak seasons. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills are essential, as you'll be balancing customer service, fleet readiness, team coordination, and cost control simultaneously.

Indie offers a $50–55k annual salary plus performance and referral bonuses, continuous training, and the chance to experience road trips across its global fleet. There are also opportunities to develop your career in field operations or transfer to offices in Lisbon, Mexico City, or Manila as the company scales.
