About this role
NVE Experience Agency is building out its in-house business affairs function and seeking either a licensed attorney or seasoned business affairs professional to own the full contracting lifecycle. You'd independently manage a high volume of commercial agreements—vendor and client MSAs, SOWs, talent deals, sponsorship agreements, and more—while providing practical legal guidance on risk allocation, IP, indemnification, and negotiation strategy. This is a role for someone who can close routine deals efficiently without over-lawyering them, yet knows when to escalate or bring in specialized counsel for complex matters.
The position sits at the intersection of legal expertise and operational ownership. Beyond drafting and negotiating contracts, you'd develop templates and playbooks, coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel, and actively work to streamline processes and reduce reliance on external legal resources. You'd need strong commercial judgment, excellent project management under competing deadlines, and the ability to communicate clearly with both legal and business stakeholders. Experience in advertising, experiential marketing, entertainment, or production is preferred but not required.
The role is contract-based and in-office in Los Angeles. Compensation ranges from $120,000–$150,000 annually for business affairs professionals without a JD, or $160,000–$190,000 for licensed attorneys with 4–8+ years of relevant experience. Benefits include health coverage, 401k match, paid time off, parental leave, and a flexible work-from-home policy.
