About this role

Helpr is connecting you with a family in North Riverside seeking a part-time after-school nanny for their 7-year-old daughter. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3pm to 5pm (roughly 10 hours weekly), with an immediate start date and ongoing commitment. You'll pick up the child from school using your own vehicle, help with homework, prepare a snack, and engage her in activities centered on her interests in art, music, and outdoor time in the neighborhood. The family appreciates reliability and a patient, positive approach to the after-school routine, and they're willing to provide the school calendar in advance so you can plan around occasional closure days if you're available.

To be considered, you'll need at least two years of paid childcare experience, a high school diploma, valid driver's license with clean driving record and proof of insurance, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain it). You must be legally authorized to work in the US, provide two professional childcare references, and pass a background check and social media screening. The family has two cats and a dog, so comfort with pets is important.

The position pays $25 per hour. This is a straightforward, predictable schedule suited to someone seeking consistent part-time work with a single family in a established role.
