About this role

CGT is hiring Production Operators for second and third shift work at its Braunfels facility. You'd start at $17.50 per hour with a clear path to $19 within 12 months, and the company emphasizes promotion opportunities as the facility expands. The role involves operating production equipment across various stations—mixing, printing, inspection—while identifying and troubleshooting defects, managing equipment changeovers, and logging data into systems like SAP and HMI interfaces. You'll report directly to your shift supervisor and be expected to move flexibly between production areas as needed.

The position requires a minimum of two years in manufacturing, ideally with automotive, chemical, textile, plastics, or rolled goods experience. Basic computer skills are essential, and you should be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments and picking up overtime or weekend shifts when required. Prior HMI experience is a plus but not required if you demonstrate a strong learning attitude and willingness to follow procedures and environmental regulations.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 3 PM–11:30 PM for second shift, or Sunday–Thursday, 11 PM–7:30 AM for third shift. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, pet insurance, disability coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and paid holidays. This role suits someone with solid manufacturing fundamentals who values stability, clear advancement potential, and a straightforward operational environment.
