About this role
Luster National is building out scheduling expertise for a major portfolio of public infrastructure projects across the Los Angeles region, and this role sits at the center of that effort. As Senior Scheduler, you would own the planning and tracking of approximately $800M in concurrent heavy civil work—highways, bridges, transit systems, airports, and water infrastructure—moving each project from design through closeout. The position demands someone who can develop and maintain critical path schedules at both the individual project and integrated program level, review contractor submissions for compliance and logic, incorporate external constraints like community commitments and funding timelines, and translate complex schedule data into clear narratives and executive summaries for leadership.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Los Angeles suited to someone with at least 10 years of public works scheduling experience, including a minimum of 5 years managing projects across the full lifecycle. You'll need strong command of Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, hands-on experience preparing time impact analyses and delay claims, and the ability to perform resource and cost loading. The work is collaborative—coordinating regularly with project managers, design teams, contractors, and partner agencies to surface risks and develop mitigation strategies—and requires the organizational discipline to juggle multiple concurrent projects without losing sight of the critical path.
Luster offers a competitive benefits package including unlimited flexible time off, comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) with guaranteed employer contribution, $2,500 annually for professional development, and perks like personalized nutrition support and financial planning services. The salary range is $145k–$190k annually.
