You'll own the full deal lifecycle across payments, trading, and agentic partnerships, building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders at some of the world's largest financial institutions.

What you'll do:

  • Proven ability to explain complex technical and crypto concepts clearly and persuasively to executive audiences and build trust with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

About this role

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive partnerships across its infrastructure division, focusing on payments and stablecoin integrations with major financial institutions, fintechs, and payment service providers. You'll own the complete sales cycle—from identifying and qualifying prospects through negotiation, close, and post-launch expansion—while hitting revenue targets and building relationships with C-suite executives. The role demands translating complex blockchain and payments infrastructure into compelling business cases tailored to each partner's needs.

This position requires at least ten years in sales, business development, or partnerships within payments, fintech, banking, or crypto, with demonstrated success originating and closing sophisticated, multi-workstream deals. You'll need deep fluency in the payments and trading ecosystem—stablecoins, cross-border rails, card networks, digital wallets—and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. Cross-functional collaboration with product, legal, solutions architecture, and specialty sales teams is essential to ensure smooth partner onboarding and integration.

Coinbase operates as a remote-first company with quarterly in-person "surge" sessions. The base salary ranges from $294,185 to $346,100, with additional equity and bonus eligibility. This role suits experienced enterprise sales leaders comfortable in a high-intensity environment who can navigate both the business and technical dimensions of infrastructure partnerships at scale.
