About this role

Brady Services is seeking a Boiler Mechanic Level 2 in Charlotte to perform independent routine boiler repair, installation, and maintenance work on commercial and industrial systems. You'd handle tube re-tubing, welding, pipe fitting, refractory work, and feedwater and steam-system repairs—working largely on your own after initial job setup and planning. The role requires you to troubleshoot basic system issues, read mechanical and electrical drawings, maintain accurate field records, and mentor less-experienced technicians as they develop their skills.

This position suits someone with at least two years of boiler, industrial mechanical, pipe fitting, or welding experience who can work safely with minimal supervision and pass welding qualification tests as needed. You'll need a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding work in industrial environments—including confined spaces, elevated areas, extreme temperatures, and exposure to fumes and moving equipment. Travel and overtime are expected.

The role offers a clear path to advance your technical expertise in burner controls, code repair, and complex troubleshooting through on-the-job training and factory programs. If you're an experienced tradesperson ready to take on independent responsibility while building a team, this is a solid opportunity with an established service company.
