Pharmacy Liaison

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Liaison to embed within a hospital clinic or office setting in Houston, providing direct patient support around medication management and specialty pharmacy services. You'll work closely with clinical teams to handle prior authorizations, insurance problem-solving, and financial assistance while educating patients on available pharmacy services and managing both specialty and retail prescriptions. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and identifying ways to improve workflows.

This position requires an active Texas Pharmacy Technician License and CPhT certification, along with at least five years of pharmacy technician experience. You'll need strong organizational and communication abilities, solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems (which will be assessed during pre-employment screening), and the kind of integrity and empathy that makes patient-facing work sustainable. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST, beginning onsite for training with a potential shift to hybrid work later.
