About this role

Ascension's Operations Analyst role in Nashville centers on managing the operational backbone of fundraising activities within a shared services environment. You would own the complete gift processing workflow—from entry and coding through acknowledgements and exception resolution—while maintaining the fundraising database as the single source of truth for donor records, pledges, designations, and campaign information. The position also requires close partnership with Finance on gift reconciliation, month-end close support, and ensuring fundraising records align with financial systems.

This is a role suited to someone with strong attention to detail and process management skills, comfortable working across multiple systems and coordinating between teams. The position calls for either a high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience, an associate's or bachelor's degree, or four years of directly applicable job experience; fundraising certification is preferred. You'll work in-office in Nashville and serve as cross-functional backup for other operations team members, so flexibility and a willingness to support broader team continuity are important.
