About this role
Supporting a legal team at CBIZ means handling the operational backbone of client service—managing calendars, preparing legal documents, coordinating meetings, and maintaining the filing systems that keep matters moving forward. You'll work directly with attorneys and paralegals, serving as a professional point of contact for clients and colleagues across phone, email, and in-person interactions. The role spans traditional administrative work (copying, scanning, document formatting) alongside client-facing responsibilities like preparing meeting materials and supporting billing and collections processes.
This position calls for someone with at least two years of office experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting, who can juggle multiple priorities without losing accuracy. You'll need strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent written and verbal communication, and the judgment to anticipate needs and solve problems on your own. The role also includes supporting business development and marketing initiatives, so interest in client engagement and growth activities is valued.
The job is fully in-office in New York City, five days a week, and suits someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients.
